STEPS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF HP-RGS BLADE ENCLOSURES

Task 1 :- Create RIB/ILO net (use existing if available) à If New Subnet is needed , Create the SVI on Core switch , Use DHCP and DNS for that location. Make it routable if not .

Task 2 :- Assign IP to RIB/ net à The OA1/ OA2 IP address .

Reserve the ports in RIB switch with Configuration Make the physical connection of OA1/OA2 . IN QIP again Object name should be configured configured for host

Task 3 :- Ask FSO to connect the OA 1 and OA2 cable on reserve ports on the RIB switch .

Task 4:- Create Production net (use existing if available) à If New Subnet is needed , Create the SVI on Core switch , Use DHCP and DNS for that location , Use WDS server for that location based on Windows and linux client Make it routable if not.

Task 5:- Set IP addresses and enable DHCP scope for clients(including PXE option)

Task 6:- Configuration of the FEX with 5k , Use the existing model . Reserve the ports in 5k and ask the FSO to connect the FEX on that ports .

Task 7:- Configure server switch ports for the enclosures.
