Entry Level:

In this level where CCENT and CCT certifications serves as entry level for candidates who are interested to make their career in networking, now Cisco has decided to keep only CCT for entry level individuals from Feb 2020. CCENT would be no longer available from the date.

Associate Level:

This announcement will affect the individuals who are doing and preparing for CCNA track exams. In current, CCNA have 9 tracks as of now as you can see above in table where individuals might choose one of them as their interests. These tracks are Routing and Switching, Security, Data Center, Collaboration, Service Provider, Wireless, Cloud, CCDA, and Industrial. But from the year of Feb 2020, Cisco will offer consolidated certification CCNA instead of based on different tracks. In this CCNA certification candidates would be prepare for associate level job roles in IT technology. CCNA includes automation, security and programmability in new syllabus.

New CCNA certification would cover all foundational topics which build your networking base strong. Topics will cover Network fundamental, Network access, IP connectivity, IP services, Security fundamentals, Automation and Programmability.

In Associate level Cisco has introduced new certification exam DevNet. This certification will prove your skills and knowledge in developing and maintaining applications built on Cisco platforms. It validates the skills and knowledge of software developers, DevOps, Automation engineers, and other software professionals.

Professional Level:

Currently, individuals have 8 tracks to choose career path in networking. These 8 certifications are CCDP, CCNP Cloud, CCNP Collaboration, CCNP Data Center, CCNP R&S, CCNP Security, CCNP Service Provider and CCNP wireless. These certifications proves your advanced level of expertise in networking. But now, there would be only 6 certifications in professional level. Now CCNP Routing and Switching and CCNP Wireless would be replaced by CCNP Enterprise.

CCDP and CCNP Cloud would be no longer available separately, DevNet Professional level certification would replace both.

 Expert Level:

In this expert level certifications where world’s most prestigious certifications are available in IT industry such as CCDE, CCIE Collaboration, CCIE Data Center, CCIE Routing and Switching, CCIE Security, CCIE Service Provider and CCIE Wireless. In new announcement, Cisco has decided to end CCIE Routing and Switching certification and CCIE Wireless certification. Instead of these two, new certifications would be introduced named with CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure and CCIE Enterprise Wireless.

Architect Level:

No change in this level.
